$2 Million in Federal Funding to Benefit Maryland Homeless Youth

HUD announced 2 million dollars in Youth Homelessness System Improvement (YHSI) grants awarded to Maryland. YSHI grants will be used to develop a network of Youth Action Boards, make improvements to the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) and Coordinated Entry systems, establish a youth homeless prevention and response plan, and create statewide standards and trainings for family and youth support workers.
