Montgomery County Camp Greentree for Youth Experiencing Homeless and Behavioral Needs

In July 2024, Montgomery County opened Camp Greentree, a 5-week summer camp for youth experiencing homelessness and behavioral needs. JSSA, a health and social wellness agency, and Montgomery County Public Schools partnered to establish this camp, utilizing funding from: MCPS; the McKinney-Vento National Center for Homeless Education; and the Maryland Consortium on Coordinated Community Supports (the Consortium) and Maryland Community Health Resources Commission (CHRC).
