$69 Million in Federal Funding to Support Homeless Services

On April 30, 2024, it was announced that Maryland received 69 million dollars in federal funding, which will be allocated to each of the ten Continuums of Care (CoC). These funds will support homeless services and projects including new initiatives such as trauma informed trainings for CoC staff, funding Allegany County Human Resources Development Commission to support rapid rehousing, and supporting joint transitional housing and rapid rehousing facilities Fuller House and Southern Crossing.
